It typically takes around 48 hours or 2 days for the solution to completely absorb into your dog’s skin. Therefore, you should wait around 48 hours after applying the product to touch, pet, or play with your dog. Can you bathe a dog with Advantix?

Yes, you can! However, it is generally recommended that you bathe your dog before applying K9 Advantix II. You should also make sure you’ve dried your dog thoroughly before applying it. If you decide to bathe your dog in between treatments, I suggest you use of a general grooming shampoo for pets.

What if dog licks K9 Advantix?

If an animal is able to lick the product when it is wet on the fur or scratches the area and then licks their foot, the bitter taste of the product can cause the animal to salivate, foam at the mouth, become nauseous or vomit.

Can my dog sleep in my bed after flea treatment?

When used as directed, pets treated with FRONTLINE® flea and tick treatments do not pose a health risk to children or adults. It is a recommended precaution that children or adults do not pet, play or sleep with treated animals until the application site is dry.
